Baby Gemma comes to visit

It was Queens Birthday weekend last weekend and Logan, Erica and baby Gemma came to visit. It was strange to have people calling me Grandad. I have the feeling that I am too young to be called that. Gemma is brilliant and beautiful. It was great on Sunday to have her in church worshipping. Children are awesome....

Another Fantastic Week

Just had an awesome time on Sunday. It was ofcorse Mothers Day, but also it was my son, James' birthday. With him turning 18, it was amazing to reflect on his years growing up and be glad of the man he is growing into.

This Sunday we have, 'Ignition', the Vision College worship band. The main thing we are working toward however is, "Maximise Conference", which is ofcorse next week. It is not too late still to sign up for it. If you are interested in music you should try and be there at all costs.

It has been awhile!

Hi everyone. It has been a while since my last blog. Technology has not been working to well and we have finally located the problem. A lot has happened since the last blog but it would take too long to tell about everything. May however is going to be awesome. This Sunday is Mothers Day and we have a lot planned. The 16th "Ignition" the worship band from Vision is playing. On the 21-22 is our music conference, "Maximise", and Wayne and Libby are staying around to preach on the Sunday. And Finally in May, on the 30th, is Pastor Kumar from India. Its a very busy month but will keep you all posted.

Salvations in the House

Last Sunday and this we've seen Salvations in the House. I just want to highlight a couple. One young guy, 20 something, got saved after attending for a couple of months off and on and he now is sooo excited about what God is doing in his life. First time decision, never been in Church before. God is good. At the same time we have also seen a gang member lift his hands to Jesus and get saved last night. First time decision. Been a couple of times now. God is moving in the House.

Presence in the House

Yesterday was Amazing. Last nights service REALLY went off. Worship was excellent and Nick was really onto it. You could really feel the Presence

Church Growth

This time of year is so exciting, new people coming to church. We seem to have a wave of young professionals coming but are also adding growth across all ages. God is good!

2010 New Year of Faith

First, I, as part of my New Years resolution have decided to update my blog regularly. We've had a great start to the year. Atmosphere at church is just electric. This is going to be a year that we look back on I'm sure and say, "Wow!". As we look forward, we just see church life taking off and more and more people coming to church.

Sunday Night Church

Sunday night was off the hook! Something happened that was unexplainable; people were undone through worship and excitement levels skyrocketed. We of course know this is God, but we also know that we touched something in God that was new. Cant wait for next Sunday!

Ian Wright - Visiting Ministry

WE had Ian wright over the weekend as visiting minstry. We saw a great move of the spirit, people getting touched, healed awesome!

Roy Fields has left the building

Roy Fields rocked the house! Its great to see people getting touched by the power of God. We had a bit of everything, a wave of joy, words of knowledge, healing, salvation and the power of God. I think if you mixed up all of the previous moves of God and threw them all together, we’d have Monday night Holy Spirit mayhem with Roy Fields. Fantastic!

Well its only 2 days out from Roy Fields visit...
The roof is going to lift off I beleive and so we are looking forward to an awesome night of live worship!
Last night the Youth group took an earth ball to the park, when they all got back they were still full of energy! Go Rainier and Tania!!!

Weekend

Well what a weekend!! A bit colder than we are used to up here but still, we touched heaven both in the morning and the evening.
We had great fun in our evening meeting and I still continue to be surprised at what God is doing in Christchurch. We are looking forward to Roy Fields coming on Monday next week 7pm at City Church. Check out the tour at www.royfields.com and then come along Monday night and be part of the live revival worship.

Roy Fields

Well the 30th is almost here!!
Roy Fields will be with us for one noght only and so "here we go".
It will be a night of Holy Spirit Touches and the sound of REVIVAL.
